Started it just over a week ago. Like Kaye said...insurance. I am eager. Not sleeping very deeply but nothing to worry about. Head ache for the first 4 days and nausea . Also retaining a little fluid but nothing crazy.

I'm really hesitant for fear of side effects...

I started it and 13 doses in, seemed to have developed an allergic reaction with hives and rash. After discussion with the oncologist we were going to experiment. I would wait until symptoms cleared up and try again. I waited about 1 1/2 months and tried again. Had a reaction in about 18 hours. I will be trying again wth a different manufacturer as I may just be reacting to an inactive ingredient. If that doesn't work, I guess the decision is made as there are no alternative drugs for premenopausal women.

I started it five weeks ago. Hot flashes are terrible but I look at it as insurance to keep the cancer from coming back so I tolerate it.

I chickened out last weekend. I decided to take Prilosec for several days first to hopefully ward off nausea. Just took my first dose tonight. Very nervous!
