Depends on type of surgery. Lumpectomy up to a week. Mastectomy up to 2 weeks. These are the usuals. However, everyone is different .

Wow. Your doctor is strict. I had a double and was told 2 weeks. It took me 3.

I still had 4 drains in 2 weeks out. My incisions were healing well. I had to do extensive therapy to be able to use my right arm again. I believe it was probably in the 5 th week when I was up to it.
