Can taxol give you flu-like symptoms? For example cough with mucus, running nose and tireness.

I've never heard of Taxol causing a cough, mucus, or runny nose. Being tired is a major side effect of chemo. Taxol also causes hair loss including nose hair which would cause my nose to occasionally run. The other symptoms you mentioned aren't symptoms of Taxol. It might be a good idea to call your doctor if you're experiencing those symptoms. :)

I had flu symptoms like body aches, but not runny nose and stuff. Possibly just a cold?

I have had these symptoms. Congestion, slight cough, nose irritation, and a swelling in my throat. My Dr. is aware. She says these are common side effects . Just share everything with your Dr. I'm on number 7 of the Taxol. Hang in there!

Yes I've been experiencing these symptoms for the past week, however I don't have a fever. One other thing after I finished A/C I had a mammogram and ultrasound my mass had shrunk about 1/3 but my doctor didn't seem too thrilled by this.

Your doctor wasn't thrilled that your tumor was shrinking??? That's fantastic news!!!

I have been having flu-like symptoms, but no fever, with all four of my Taxol treatments. I blow my nose constantly, have muscle aches (could be Neulasta side effects too) and coughing. I notice that my muscle aches, coughing and sore tonsils are the worst about days 3-8. It does ease up and go away the next week. But, sadly the fatigue sticks around.

I spoke with the doctor's nurse and she said as long as there's no fever it's ok. I'm a little worried because I don't want my treatments interupted.
