I agree with Vicki. A fan is a life saver and ice water great. (***Vicki, I can't imagine living in the south on top of the hot flashes....) I live in the Pacific NW, not known for heat and humidity. I just wear an extra large men's t-shirt. Another tip is get the best cotton sheets you can afford. They are slick and just cool to the touch. Here are a couple of items on the market to use under you pillow case. I haven't tried either but they might make you a bit more comfy as they cool your head.... Hang in there!!! After my 1st chemo I sweat a lot and my oncologist lowered the steroid dosage that I took on my own at home following treatment. It was a slight adjustment but I didn't wake up soaked again. Ask your doc if this is an option.

Try sleeping in a lightweight loose fitting cotton gown and keep a glass of ice water by your bed. Poly blend sleepwear holds the heat in so 100% cotton is important. They are hard to find but there is a website that sells them and they are nice and they help keep you cool. I got two of them when I was having vicious night sweats and between those, ice water, and fan it really did help because I could not use any hormones with my cancer. If you want the website I will post that for you. Hmmm I may just order myself another one with summer coming. I live in the south and the heat and humidity are unbearable. Good luck to you

I saw this on dr. Oz.... Put a couple socks filled with uncooked rice in the freezer during the day and then put them under your pillow at night. The rice holds the temp for a long time. Also you can wrap it around your neck to cool yourself off faster. :)

Try buying a chillow. It works great. You slide it in your pillow. It is sold on amazon.com . I also get acupuncture for hot flashes. It has been a life saver. Good luck
