Wow, Michele! I thought you wondered if you had waited too long for treatment. If I had understood you were considering not doing treatment I would have hollered REALLY loud. Glad you started. Keep it up. Sorry for the added personal tragedy of a broken marriage. It's hard enough to do this battle with support from a spouse but don't give up on yourself because of it. There is an eye in the center of a hurricane that is calm and the storm doesn't batter the land. Think of your treatment as the eye, where your focus is on you. Rest in the skilled hands of your medical team as they minister to you. If you're a person of faith, now is the time to snuggle up in the hands of a loving God that can lift you above the storm until you regain your strength to move forward in hope. Please set aside all those nasty why's for all of the mess and focus on the task at hand. You can do this one day at a time. Hurrah that you took the first step to a long and healthy life. Jo :-D

I am so glad that you have decided to start your treatment, the sooner you begin the sooner it will be over. Breast cancer left untreated has only one outcome and it is final, no going back. Good luck. You treatment will be over before you know it...
