Yes just to keep your skin soft. I used aquaphor in the AM&PM but make sure you was your breast before treatments. All the other suggestions are good too. If not your skin will sunburn faster. Take it from me I learned the hard way. Lol you will not feel a thing. When I had my first one I said "that's it". So it turned out the hardest part was going everyday for 3 min treatment And now im done YEAH. You can do this good luck & God Bless

Thank you for your words of encouragement during my time. I pray that one day I could also encourage others to fight. God is so good He has been with me the whole journey and I know that He will not abandon me now. God bless you and may He continues to encourage us and give us strength. And give us the peace that He promises that was to surpass all men's knowledge. God bless.

which one? the Silver cream to heal, or the aloe? Aloe won't hurt anything, silver cream might be too early. :) radiation girl

After I had radiation I put on and then washed it off before my next session. Don't rub with a face cloth or a towel just pat it dry. I really coated it on at night and wore my husbands tee shirtto bed. I've had really good luck so far. It's a walk in the park next to chemo. I'll keep you in my prayers

My radiation oncologist says clean and dry is best. No creams for me yet. I'm halfway thru my 16 treatments.

Not to bad. Stomach sore where he took the skin graft & lypo suction. Never have lypo! Hurts like heck! No pain killers today, yah! Had to go for my herceptin today so I will be down with 'the flu' the next 2 days. It's good to be alive!

Hi Norma, I hope your treatments go well. I go for #13 of 33 today. My doctor says nothing on before treatment. I am using calendula lotion which (knock wood) seems to be working well. Good luck!! Oh, and it's ok to bathe before you go.
