Lou, This is difficult to predict. Everybody's treatment is different. I only had 4 rounds of chemo. My entire treatment was started with surgery, in October, and I was done with everything, the first week of January. We are all different so what happens to one woman, won't necessarily be the same for the next. Take care, Sharon

Thank you all so much for your answers. I will be getting biopsy results Monday, but have been told by 2 doctors that it looks malignant. Will be getting MRI next.

It depends on how many rounds you have and how far apart they are. The later the stage cancer and more aggressive it is, the longer it will take. Most woman have 4 to 8 rounds of chemo 2 to 3 weeks apart. Some have even more infusions. Keep the questions coming. We care about you!

Thank you for your answer. I will find out the staging on Monday, but have been told that it looks malignant. I guess the stage will determine whether surgery or chemo is first. Lou

What does it means "6 rounds " every three weeks? So 18 weeks?

A "round" is one chemo treatment. You are right with the math in the example you gave. Keep the questions coming! We are here for you!

I started September 12, 2012 and my last one was January 15, 2013. I was on TCH every three weeks with a couple weeks skipped because my counts weren't up enough.
