Your Story

Had DCIS stage 1 breast cancer in 2006. Had partial masectomy and radiation. Since then I have had 6 biopsies on same breast and MRI's and mammograms every 6 mo. I just had an MRI and 2 biopsies. After the biopsies, a large tumor found at cancer site. It wasn't there 1 yr ago and now is the size of a quarter. I am having bi lateral masectomy soon and reconstruction. I am 65. Under the tumor was negative fat necrosis 1 yr. ago and benign. Don't understand this new tumor. All biopsies have been rad 3. This boob has got to come off. The radiologist also said the skin is thickening and there are other signs of disease.
